Common Questions
What if something breaks?
⌄
Normal wear and tear is completely covered — no charge. If your scooter has any issues, request a free swap through the app and we'll get you a replacement.
Can I cancel anytime?
⌄
Yes. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Return your scooter to the hub, and your $50 deposit is refunded.
What's included in my rental?
⌄
A premium electric scooter, charger, and lock. Ride unlimited — it's yours 24/7 for the duration of your plan.
How does pickup work?
⌄
Book an appointment in the app, come to the hub at your scheduled time, unlock the door with your phone, and grab your scooter. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes — no staff needed.
Do I need to charge it myself?
⌄
Yes — we include a charger. Most riders charge overnight at home, just like a phone. A full charge takes about 6 hours and gives you roughly 20 miles of range.
What if it gets stolen?
⌄
Every scooter comes with a lock and built-in GPS tracking. If your scooter is stolen, report it in the app and we'll work with you to recover it. You're not left on the hook.
Can I ride it in the rain?
⌄
Light rain is fine. We don't recommend riding in heavy rain or through standing water — it's a safety and traction issue more than a durability one.
What's the difference between Base and Pro?
⌄
Same scooter, different speed. Moon Base tops out at 15 mph — great for campus and neighborhoods. Moon Pro unlocks 22+ mph for commuters. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime.
